Cap Intro: Private Equity Fund Investing

It is a transactional event that host alpha-oriented investment managers and institutional grade investors that are introduced to each other with a view to become investment partners. This event focuses on the private equity fund investing industry. ALTSO UK’s Rocktoberfest – London

Charity A Leg To Stand On (ALTSO) brings to London, Rocktoberfest. This music celebration provides a platform for the London hedge fund and private equity communities to connect for a night of live rock and roll entertainment, featuring bands whose performers come directly from the finance industry. The purpose is to raise money for ALTSO. Rocktoberfest events in New York City and Chicago have for 15 years gathered more than 2,000 supporters annually. All of the performers at London's Rocktoberfest are leaders in the alternative investments and related finance industries who also play in a social band. The London event has a line-up of seven bands put together by Simmons & Simmons, Albourne, Lombard Odier, Société Générale, Paamco and Apple with opening act Bikini Beach.

Public Funds Summit East 2018

The conference addresses issues that are critical to the investment success of senior public pension fund officers and trustees. The exchange of ideas in and out of the session halls are key in educating and identifying viable alternatives that will address these concerns. The event will discuss how surplus returns should affect employee benefit plans; closely examine the processes for selection and evaluation of investment managers. It will also address legal issues facing pension plans, ethic regulations and the importance of on-going education for plan sponsors and their fiduciaries.
Although attendance is not limited to those in the public sector, the conference takes aim at topics that are of particular relevance to public pension funds. By focusing on an atmosphere of education rather than sales or marketing, the summit provides an environment in which members of the public sector can exchange ideas and learn from other delegates, money managers and consultants.
